Welcome to the Heritage Garden. We are a family of 5 living in the piedmont area on North Carolina. All of our dogs are raised inside and are part of the family. 

 

From the moment our puppies are born, they are part of our family. They are raised using Puppy Culture and Avidog puppy rearing methods and are loved and nurtured by our family until they are ready for their new homes. They interact regularly with our children which helps them transition to families that have children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, etc. These puppies are great with kids.

Although we love feeding our puppies a raw diet, we understand that it may not be the easiest thing to continue for their new families. With that in mind, the puppies will be weaned onto a premium puppy kibble. After researching different dog food brands, we decided we like the value and nutrition that The Honest Kitchen provides. If you are interested in feeding your puppies a raw diet, we would be happy to point you in the right direction as far as resources and recipes. (We love Dr. Judy Morgan!)

All of our puppies will have their first shots and will be checked by our veterinarian before they are picked up. We do not allow our puppies to have visitors before they are picked up in an effort to protect them from potential diseases. However, we can send you pictures and videos of your puppy to keep you updated on their progress! Since we do not ship puppies, you will have the opportunity to meet your puppy upon pickup.
